Today, I helped changed the front car brakes of our Honda CRV. My dad and I changed the the brakes quite without incident until we were done with it.
Since our garage is quite small, we need to back out one car out to the driveway and position the CRV smack in the middle to give us breathing space. Well after we changed the brakes, we sorta forgot that we used a C-clamp to push the caliper (I think it's called the caliper...) in so the hydraulics needed some "warm-up" period where it builds the pressure back up. So my mom got into her car and got into reverse. The instant the brakes were released, the car backed up quite fast and veered into the trees by the driveway. It finally stopped after bumping into the crepe myrtle by the mailbox.
Lesson - plant big trees to crash into (and a... to try out the brakes before you drive)
