Pandora is a relatively "old" Web 2.0 application. It is basically an online radio station that plays only the music you like. It's based on the Music Genome project which analyzes music for qualities such as rhythms, chord structure, tonal frequency etc. So for example, I'm loving an artist called Shantel, which I plug into Pandora. It then turned up numerous similar music which I can rate, then Pandora adjusts and voila, a custom made radio station...
