One of my little brother's book, The Twelve Days of Kindergarten by Deborah Lee Rose, illustrated by Carey Armstrong-Ellis, has a quirky little thing in it. I like to name it, The Twelve Ways to Pick One's Nose. Take a look:
1. Sitting around.
2. Or maybe holding up a "we love school" sign.
3. Reading "Bedtime for Pooky" sounds like the perfect time to pick my nose!
4. No, I take it back, painting lead paint is the perfect time to pick my nose.
5 Still, playing a wind instrument with a finger inside my nose is... cool.
6. WARNING: Nose picking could result in falling paper, proceed at own risk.
7. When digging like a gopher, be like a gopher.
8. While being a mailman(?).
9. The added booger factor causes many people to trip over a spindle of string (I think he likes her...).
10. NO, DON'T KISS THE FROG!
11. The peg on the block is the perfect size for picking the other side of the nose.
12. You know, smooshing boogers on other people's drawing creates funny expressions.
Sorry if you enjoy the book... I can't resist.
