I remember back in the day when I was in 3rd grade, I wanted to fly. Flying was my superpower of choice back then. I guess my reasoning back then was that flying is super-duper cool and you can go to a lot of places really fast.
As I mature in my knowledge of the world and wisdom, I gradually lost faith in flying. Now, all of a sudden, flying doesn't seem very fun when two hundred and fifty thousand people just died from a tsunami. I wanted to achieve more, I wanted to be Superman.
Still, somehow Superman doesn't seem like the perfect person with superpowers. After all, he does have a weakness, Kryptonite (and take a look at this forum discussion on how to kill Superman). I wanted something that can save the world: something powerful, something relentless, something indestructible.
Now I realize that no matter what, a single "something" cannot save defend the world. That task has to be carried on by everyone.
Together, nothing can stop us.

I'm SO with you. Although Superman is AMAZING, I know to make a difference it'll take us all.
