Free Juice?

1. Do you know what those "light" juices are made out of? Actually, they're just normal juices except watered down... at least that's what Mott is doing. From the Consumerist:

Here's a perfect example of why you should always approach "healthy" labeling on food products with a skeptical eye. Summer did a quick side-by-side comparison of regular Mott's apple juice with new Mott's Plus Light. What she found was that except for a few added vitamins, the Light product was just Mott's juice diluted by 50% with water—but selling for the same price as the 100% juice.

 Now, that's not a really nice thing to do Mott... bad Mott... bad.

2. Are you saying Tallahassee is a boring town? I totally agree, but we still get SOME cool things around here. Don't agree with me? Well, where in the world could you see someone get tased while nude, walking a dog? (hint: Tally-town).

Now the even more weird thing? The reason:

The man was asked what he was doing and told the officer, "Allah told me to watch a Bruce Willis movie and walk the dog," McCranie said

Yes.. I watch Bruce Willis movies and walk the dog too. 

3. 9/11 - I didn't post on 9/11 due to homework issues but a powerful picture had came to my attention today. Take a look at this photo from the Esquire. Probably one of the most powerful I've seen so far.

In the picture, he departs from this earth like an arrow. Although he has not chosen his fate, he appears to have, in his last instants of life, embraced it. If he were not falling, he might very well be flying. He appears relaxed, hurtling through the air. He appears comfortable in the grip of unimaginable motion.
