Kung Fu Panda

I never think I'll write somewhat of a movie review... but since I saw it and have nothing else to write.

As you probably know, Kung Fu Panda is a star studded movie. Jack Black, Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie etc (notice all the J's? I call this the J-Team). My expectations for this movie was pretty high as my family already saw it and gave it pretty nice calls. The result after watching it? It is pretty awesome.

The movie itself was pretty well made, but the thing that got it was the nice voices and the humor of the film. Somehow this film delivered an funny experience that can be enjoyed by an adult and children. Fortunately, all the jokes are not recycled crap from the second season of Friends and rather center around a more witty, Chinese-philosophy humor. I like the latter of the two reasons...

While doing some little research for this post, I stumbled upon IMDB's little FAQ section for this movie, guess what it have on there? All the different martial arts styles and their origin. Isn't that awesome? Aren't you blindly by this awesome post?

Leopard Kung Fu (Tai Lung): " Leopard Kung Fu was supposedly created by Jueyuan with help from Bai Yufeng and Li Sou. The emphasis of leopard is speed and angular attack. Leopard Kung Fu does not overwhelm or rely on strength, but instead relies on speed and outsmarting its opponent. The power, as in all kung fu forms, comes from a solid stance, but in Leopard Kung Fu it particularly comes from the aggressive speed. The Leopard Kung Fu practitioner will focus on elbows, knees, low kicks, and Leopard Punches.
