A few people have been inquiring me about Google Adsense, and it's just a way for you to monetize your blog, or any website for that matter.
The way you make money is simple. You place ads on a site and watch people click it. Now for every click, you might make around 20 cents to 50 cents depending on what the person clicked and the website you are putting your ads on. As the amount of money in your account builds up, you'll eventually be able to withdraw it into a bank account/check once it reaches $100.
Note: Due to the terms of service of Adsense, I'm not allowed to discuss specifics of my own personal account. I'll be making generalizations.
The requirements are relatively simple, a website and blog that you can edit is all. Now just go on to http://www.google.com/adsense and start the sign up process.
I forgot what stuff I needed but assume the usual Google schblang ie Google account, address, phone, and maybe a credit card. The Adsense group is going to then review your application and reply within three days (I got mine within 1). Once you recieve the email, you're golden.
Now if you have Google Blogger, you'll find it extremely easy to put Adsense on your blog. Go to Layout, click "Add a gadget" and find the Adsense one. It'll prompt you to find your Adsense key. Just follow the simple directions (I'm sorry if I forgot what I did). Configure your ads, place it, and voila!
For RSS feeds (you can suscribe to this feed at the button on the top left), I used a Feedburner account alongside Adsense. Get an account here at http://feedburner.google.com then go ahead and burn your feed. When your down, click on the feed's name and go to the monetize tab. Fill in the appropriate info and your done.
(Now there is another way for feeds, and that is just by using the Adsense for Feed thing in the Adsense page, that is the way I did it, but using the Feedburner should be easier).
Now wait, write great posts, submit your posts to Digg/Reddit/Delicious and get the people to start clicking!
