The Case for Cooking

When do Americans learn cooking?

Infant are too small to wield a knife. Toddlers too immature to not play with the food. Seven year olds too busy with reading and arithmetic. Teens contain too much angst to learn cooking. College students obviously have no time.

Besides the occasional baked goods, there's no where to gain real experience for the majority!

Use your imagination on what happens right after the college students with no means of food production go into the real world. They either starve, or rely on yucky, pre-made food. A cycle of fatness ensues.

Hmm.
