Telephone (the game) is pretty hilarious by itself where even the most mundane sentence could turn into the scandalous sentence. If you don't know what it is, Wikipedia is a great place to learn what it is.
Pictionary is a spectacle of subliminal messaging and intense frustration. Sometimes the simplest of pictures convey the deepest of thoughts. Once again, Wikipedia comes to the rescue if you never played it.
What do you get when you fuse the two? The creatively named game of Telephone Pictionary.
The game is simple and easy to set up. One only needs at least 4 more friends, sheets of paper and pens/pencils.
Each player starts by writing a sentence at the very top of the paper. It could be as simple as "I walk" or as complicated as a sentence from the Bard. Then each player passes the paper to the left or right.
By now, each player will have a sheet of paper with a different sentence on it. This is where the Pictionary part comes in: each player now draws an interpretation of the sentence as best as each person can in a reasonable amount of time. Now each player folds the initial sentence in a way that the next player can't see it. Pass it again.
Now you should get the gist. Each player sees only one previous item from the last player and writes either a sentence or picture again. Once the paper reaches the original owner (which might not even recognize it) the round is over.
Hilarity ensues.

So Yeah... The Finger Game Is Rigged
When kids get bored, they make up games. One of the easiest games to play is of course the "Finger Game." You know, the one where you tap the opponent hand to increase the number of fingers he or she has to hold up? And if one of the hands reaches more than 4, than the hand is out.
Assuming no splits (Tapping your own hands to redistribute the number), I found out player two can always win. A few minutes of boredom made me draw up a simple tree of each move each player can do. I assumed the following: having two hands out is better than one (meaning that the player will strike out a hand as soon as possible) and no stupid moves to the depth of one (translation: not commiting suicide by seeing only one move ahead).
So by the second move, the hands will look like 1 1 - 2 1 (1 on left hand and right hand for P1 and 2 on left hand and 1 on right hand for P2). If player two strikes P1 with the 2 hand, P2 will lose as P1 can easily get out one hand of the opponent.
Now, if player two strikes with the one hand, then no matter what P1 does, he or she will lose. If P1 makes it a 2 1 - 2 2, P2 can win it by striking the one (try it out yourself if you don't believe me). Or if P1 makes it a 2 1 - 4 1 or a 2 1 - 3 2 game, both results in P1 getting into too huge a hole (down by a whole hand) to be able to climb out of the hole.
I should really write a computer program to simulate the whole fingers with split...

Three Awesome Internet Games
Ever since summer started, I bet addictinggames.com's traffic must have shot straight up. Here's a three lesser known Flash (?) games.
- Bubble Spinner - Produced by Deadwhale.com, Bubble Spinner is Bubble Shooter on an extra dose of rotational motion. Don't remember bubble shooter? Its the one where you try to shoot bubbles up to make 3 or more bubbles together to make then go away. As time passes, the bubbles will start to drop... remember now?
Well, Bubble Spinner is like that except the shooter is on top and the bubbles are in the center (like a wheel and axle). The bubbles will spin as you hit the targets from different angles, causing you to have different shots at the targets.
- Pandemic II - The swine flu pandemic hasn't even subsided yet, why is people playing a game called pandemic? That's just asking for death! Well, at least you'll have a good time dying playing this game.
The object of the game is to infect and kill everybody on Earth. To accomplish that feat, you must evolve your virus/bacteria/parasite to become more lethal or infectious. The game surprisingly has a huge amount of strategy involved with it (and or course, luck... stupid island countries, almost impossible to infect).
- Minions - Probably the funnest of the three (as it is multiplayer), Minions is made by Casual Collective and is a Tanks (remember bonus.com?) like game. There's two teams of people in which each person controls his or her own unit. There's several units to choose from, each with a special ability to use in battle. For example, Doc is the medic and the scout, Basher is the main damage dealer, Shouty can pierce armor and shoot mortar etc. It is incredibly addictive and fun. If you decide to go for it, tell me and I'll play with you.

I bet you'll hear the football score in the Chiles vs East Gadsen game here first.
It was 49 to 3, and Chiles lost... it was awful :D

Better than any Movie
It's expected to make more than $400 million in its first week, more than Hollywood's biggest box-office openings. It's the sixth in its series, and probably the most promising one ever. It's perhaps the most controversial series in the history of its kind, yet 70 million copies have been sold worldwide.
What do you think it is?

You're wrong. It's Grand Theft Auto IV, and it's coming out Monday-Tuesday at midnight, 4/29/08.
GTA is well known for its violent, ruthless, and pointless violence. It's perhaps one of the most sinful games ever made, and is constantly under criticism. The game allows you to pick from a variety of wrong-doings, such as drunk driving, prostitution, mugging, shootings, beatings, assassinations, DUIs, running from the police, theft, illegal racing, mugging, home invasions, and others.
For people like me, this is a godsend. The game has been rated a 10/10 by IGN, who haven't rated a a game a 10 ever since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The power of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's Playstation 3 have allowed Rockstar Games to go overboard on GTA IV. Even background characters have personalities. It's guaranteed that you won't run into the same person on the street the entire game, and the map they make of Liberty City (NYC) is breathtaking. The Most Racist Game in the World!
Everyone knows Monopoly. Everyone also knows how African Americans earn slightly less income due to racism and environmental factors. Now combine those two together and you have the game of "Blacks & Whites."
The game is played like this, you first pick whether you are black or whites and you play it like monopoly.
Except a very racist twist, whites start with 1 million in assets while blacks start with 10 grands.
Every time around the circuit, whites earn 50K while black gets only 10K.
Whites and blacks draw from different, unequal "Chance cards" (called opportunity card)
For example blacks might pull "Mayor Daley reelected. You are picked up and taken directly to the police station for interrogation." Or "Draft call. Roll dice. If you roll an even number, you are drafted and sent to Viet Nam—sell all properties . . ."
Also, the board is divided into 4 sections:
the Ghetto Zone (including properties like Bedford Stuyvesant, Watts and Harlem)
the Integrated Zone (Ann Arbor, Berkeley, Atlanta and Greenwich Village)
the Suburban Zone (San Clemente, Levittown, Burbank and Great Neck)
the Estate Zone (Grosse Pointe, Palm Beach, Newport and Nob Hill); whites can buy anywhere while blacks can purchase freely only in the Ghettos and the Integrated, $1,000,000 in net assets is needed before buying into the Estate Zone. And he is blocked from ownership in the Suburban Zone—unless he either finds a white owner ready to sell privately ("perhaps," as the rules suggest, "at a premium"), bids highest at a white's bankruptcy auction, or lucks onto an opportunity card that opens the suburbs to him.
The original game was developed for psychology reasons in University of California to simulate the frustration of blacks. Blacks could never win (see how racist this is...).
Later, with revision, blacks could win as they can get help from "soul mate" and in cases of bankruptcy, blacks have an advantage over white opponents. When a white player is cleaned out, he is simply forced to leave the game. But when a black player becomes bankrupt, he goes on welfare and collects $5,000 from each white player.

Personal Obession of the Week
Recently I've been on the computer a lot playing a game. The game looks really corny and the graphics suck...but it's pretty addicting. The Battle for Wesnoth. It's sort of like a really fancy board game.
Plus best of all, it's opensource.
