So on the way back from my little vacation, my mom decided to try to teach my little brother basic number operators. To teach him, she used a book for pre-schoolers bought in China. Of course like all things school-related in China, the books are quite advanced.

In the span of some two and a half hours, my little brother memorized (or understood...) addition and subtraction in the set of: {1,2,3,4,5}.

I'm so proud of him...

p.s. I don't think he totally understood the whole concept of subtraction though, at dinner time, I asked him a slight extension of his knowledge ("If I eat 8 dumplings, and you eat 6, then how many more did I eat?") and he had no idea... but he is only three and a half...
