The Craze

I don't get Harry Potter.

The books and the movies are easy to figure out; the plot may be a bit thick at times but still can be figured out. Lining up seven hours before the showing of the movie is something I don't get. For books, I can understand why you would do that, you want to know what's going to happen next. But movies? When you already know that Dumbledore dies?

Fail.

My friends on Facebook are relatively smart (some at least):

I cant beleive my cousins went to go wait in line for harry potter today and got there at 5! Theyre still waiting in line! I think theyre at hour number........5 and 1/2 only and hour and a half to go! Hah! Why dont people just wait a week when its easier to go see the movie?
I'm also wondering how the new Potter movie got a PG rating. If you were to watch the movies side by side, you'll see that the theme of the movies get darker and darker. Then there's the people dying and the creepy creatures, I bet Pamper is going to make a fortune from selling diapers to kids who can't sleep anymore.

My reasons for watching Harry Potter?
  1. With friends at Knoxville, then its more funnnn
  2. I'm watching it 4 days after its release
  3. Emma Watson, 'nough said.
Rant of Harry Potter done.
